Hello everyone! Hope you are having a good start to your week...Allie and I would like to invite you over to our house for community group tomorrow night, the 12th. We will be having a Christmas dessert night so bring something to share if you can, if not, they just come and hang out. We'll have a short advent devotion and sing some Christmas carols. PS: This will be our last group for this year, starting up again the 2nd week in January, unless plans for an activity/get together materialize. I know someone had mentioned zoo lights, etc. Next week, Allie and I will be gone, but if someone would like to open up their home or meet up at the church and head that up in our absence, then please let us know.

November and December

Hi everybody! Let's kick off November  for the group this Tuesday night...we'll meet over at the church at 6:15 or so. Bring a snack to share and a game if you'd like.

We'll plan on meeting the rest of the Tuesdays this month at the church.

In December, we'll take that first Tuesday off, then meet up Tues the 12th. We would like to have the 12th be a Christmas/Advent night. Perhaps some Christmas hymns/carols, advent candles, maybe a white elephant exchange? Something like that.

Then we will meet the 19th of December, probably at the church, before taking a break the rest of the month and reconvening in the new year on Tuesday, January 9th 2018!

Hope that gives you a framework to plan around in the coming Holyday season, :)

Hey everybody! Today was supposed to be our August barbecue but  it's not going to work for us because Allie has been a bit sick and we need a day to recover. I will be looking at September and sending out an email to get going again with regular meet ups. I kind of look forward to a bit of a routine again when it comes to group. Hi everybody! Just a quick update:

Tonight, 8/8, we have a park get together at Metzger Park. I (Steve) have a soccer coaches meeting I have to attend at 5:30pm, so it's iffy whether I will be there. We'll see how long they keep me. :)

So, plan on 6:15 or so at Metzger park. Allie is going to try and be there with our kids if she is feeling well (has been a bit sick lately).

Also, on 8/22 we plan on having a belated eclipse bbq, haha. Anyways, let us know if you would like to have the BBQ at your house. The Ronnies and ourselves each hosted this summer, if you thought you might like to host one give me a text or email.

Hi everyone! This Tuesday the 18th, at 6:30pm, we are having a bbq at the Ronnie residence...They are making pulled pork sandwiches and potato salad. This summer the normal community schedule is a bit different than normal. We are going to have monthly bbq's at different houses in the community each month. We also have some park get togethers scheduled where we can go hang out and let the kiddos play. Here is the schedule:

Tonight at Cook Park

Hey everybody! We are meeting up at Cook Park to play and the Burke's have a baseball game there. We'll meet over at the game, I think it's the field that is to the left as you drive down into Cook park. Just look for the kids game with a blue shirt team. See ya around 6:15!

If the church is open to use, we plan on having a little nerf battle in the elementary/kids area tomorrow night... :) 6:15 at the church, should be a fun community group for the kids...and adults perhaps. They said we can meet up there and it's a good spot to let the boys have some space to play. We would like to keep our utilization of the space inside the grade school area (where are boys have Sunday School), so we will need to corral them in there and not run around the entire church.
