Hi community group, i pray we all had a Merry Christmas. Allie and I have been in Eugene and will be heading back today. It looks like we won't be having community group tonight, we'll reconvene the second week of January with a meal together. Anyone have any meal ideas? Let us know. We should also finalize any camping ideas for a trip next summer together if that is something we want to do.

Hi SW folks! Well, tomorrow we are going to have our last community group of the month and I hope we can all make it and celebrate Jesus birth with each other. I am going to bake 2 of my patented apple pies. Anyone else want to bring a baked good? Do so, but if not don't worry! Hi everybody! Hope you had a good weekend....I was actually not working and was able to go to church. First time for me in a bit. This week our community group is going to meet up at the Ronnie's house. I have to work this Tuesday because fall soccer is switching up my schedule on some weeks. It feels like its been a looong time since we have met up, with the break last week for scattering and now, for us with school and soccer coaching in full gear, it's been a constant go. I'm looking forward to getting together and sharing a meal on Tuesday. Let's do 6pm, our house, and Allie and I are going to buy some brats/dogs and grill them up. Scatter week is designed so that we have opportunities/time to interact with our neighbors in ways we otherwise might not. This week, we meet again on Tuesday, at the Shapiro's residence. Hello Sw Ptwn/Barbur Community! Just a quick reminder, tonight is Scatter week so no meet-up tonight. Take opportunities to connect with people in your neighborhood and see what opportunities the Lord opens for reaching out. We'll be praying for everyone, pray for us too! Our house is going to be ripped into for the construction this next monday, and we have a lot to do to clean out the rooms that will be affected.

A couple other things:
1. Next week will be our dinner week, if nice Im planning on potluck style at a park somewhere. Stay tuned for that.
2. Tuesday the 17th our family will be out of town, and I believe the Ronnie family will be gone as well. The group will probably have a "second scatter" week since so many will be gone. Maybe an informal meetup at a coffee shop or park later in the week would be cool though!

Hi everyone! We can't wait to start meeting up again for community group. This week is supposed to be scatter week, but since we were not able to meet the last two weeks of March our group has decided to go ahead and have community this Tuesday night at 6pm. This will be our dinner night and we are going to be having burger night. Shapiros will be providing burgers and buns. Stuff people can bring: Burger toppings, side dish, dessert...and you could bring hot dogs if you think your kids would rather eat that.

SW Portland/Barbur community: Hi everyone! I just wanted to post a quick update letting you know that this week is a "scatter" week for us due to the compassion clinic volunteer training on Tuesday. We decided that we would then meet up next Tuesday again for community and share a meal together. I hope everyone had a blessed Easter. I will post another blog before next Tuesday to share the meal plans for the night. I know we had discussed just meeting up at Round Table for pizza buffet sometime, maybe we can make it happen?
